The Denventure Continues

This entry is just for a couple of things I got into that were pocket friendly. Hope you all continue to give me feedback, and show me the immense support  that you always do.

The first place is called Tocabe. Best way for me to explain this place would be the Chipotle setup with better food. Tocabe is an Indian American eatery. I chose the simple fry bread, and on top put shredded bison, beans, cheese, green chilies, sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes. You can be all uppity and eat it with a fork and knife, or be a savage like me and just dig in. It was so flavorful and tasted so healthy with no effort. Downed it with Rocky Mountain pop, the prickly pear flavor. Great new taste to enjoy great new food.

Next was a breathtaking Cathedral I went into. I am more spiritual than religious. If I had to say though. I am a Catholic because it is what I was raised as. I love my savior and love to go to his places of worship. Just the simple fact that this was opened in 1911, makes you want to go in and view history. Even if this is not your religion, be open minded and view all the beautiful architecture in the building. I went in, took a few pictures, prayed for guidance and health then continued to admire the art all around me.

Last stop was a super low priced skating ring. They charge $2 for the rental of skates. If you have your own then you get the chance to skate for free. This is kid friendly and in a good part of the city. Visit coffee shops around, or just sit around some fire outside. You can show off your tricks, or watch your friends enjoy the quick attempts of falling in front of total strangers.

Thank you to the Mile-High City Denver, and all the locals we met while out there. I appreciated the hospitality, great food, and amazing views. May we all see that we can leave home and not spend wild amounts of money. I spent less than $800 my whole trip, including air fare, my room, food, entertainment, and travel while there. Remember that even if it is once a month, or once every 5 months, we must give ourselves something new and something fun to be around. Always go by my motto to "Love and allow to be loved". xoxo
