Mexican Food, Times Two
/Everyone loves Mexican food, all ages, all cultures. We can all appreciate some tacos, burritos or chimichangas once in a while. I live in Orlando for those that don't know and just started following my written journey. This week I decided to put you all onto two of my favorite Mexican eateries right around where I live.
First place I pulled into was Tienda Mexicana Jalisco. This is your typical bodega styled spot. For those that have never been in a bodega, it is basically somewhere you can grab hot food, go grocery shopping, play the lotto, and send your family money all at once, while watching TV and listening to music too. I won't lie, it is sort of a hole in the wall being remodeled little by little, but worth it. What I usually grab here is classic and simple. (I am not a fan of onions, I know, childish) 4 tacos of carne asada, topped with cilantro, white cream that resembles sour cream, with a few fresh limes on the side, all washed down by the classic Mexican Coke. They meat is always fresh and seasoned to perfection, the tacos are never soggy nor burnt, just right. They offer many things here, any Mexican dish imaginable and also leave some room for a piece of cake or some cookies to finish off delightful. Spent here about $8
Second place I pulled into was Tacos El Rancho. This place is more of a typical restaurant vibe for my uppity followers. For my big eaters I recommend the Gold Chimichanga. This is filled with flavors that will make you want to take a nap on the same table you will be eating at. Chimichanga to me basically is a lightly fried burrito. They put rice, your choice of beans and meat inside, then once its fried a little then top it off with melted cheese that flows like a cheesy waterfall, throw some cilantro, tomatoes, shredded cheese and sour cream. Other toppings and hot sauces are available too. You know I had to wash this one too with a classic Coke. Spent here about $12
Both places have great quality food, numerous options, and amicable customer service. I recommend both to anyone in the mood for authentic Mexican food.

Please excuse the quality of the Chimichanga, I took the photo with my phone. It was a last minute drop in so my camera was left at home. Enjoy and please give feedback. Remember to always "Love and allow to be loved" xo
