Laura's 25th Birthday Tampa Staycation

My little fire cracker Laura just turned 25, so we wanted Tampa to show us a great time! I have been itching to take a trip for some time now, but budgets are very much real. So we went to a couple of places that were sweet to our pockets, and rewarding to our memories.

Laura, Stephanie, Bebe and myself were the Tampa culprits for the weekend. We drove to Tampa Friday night, checked in and took our sweet time to get ready. We headed to the Hard Rock Casino super late night, around 3-4 am. Once we arrived I looked for a cheap slot machine, and waited for the waitress to take my drink order. The Casino is a tricky place for people on a budget, with any gambling you have to know when to stop. I lost 20 bucks, but we had a great time and ended up feeling pretty sweet off those drinks. It was Laura's first time actually playing, and that alone was worth it.

The hotel we stood at provided a complimentary breakfast with lots of options, an omelet station included. This is a meatless month for me, so I had to stay away from the turkey sausage. One way to save money on food when traveling, is staying somewhere that provides breakfast. Hotels, Air bnb, or even your Aunt Estelle's house. These may all be places that will provide a meal sometime in the day. The Embassy we stood at provided bottomless drinks and snacks from 730-9pm too. This helped us a lot, all we needed to do was tip well.

My cousin Jeffrey came to pick us up and take us to Cypress Park. It was such a lively park filled with all types of activities. There're picnic tables, grills, playgrounds, a waterfront, and a nice trail to run. It is family friendly; I enjoyed the green trails to the different bodies of water. It was very peaceful to be one with nature, as Gandhi infused as it sounds. You get a nice mix of city and nature. Distanced highway and buildings, with sand in your toes and fishes biting at your line. The park has no entry fee, and it can probably even be a great place for a picnic or even a birthday party.

Our last night there, Bebe went back to Orlando and Stephanie and Laura decided sleep was best. I, on the other hand wanted a nap and some whiskey. So I took an Uber down to Soho and ended up in a sweet bar named MacDinton's. It is a cool Irish pub, opened until 3am. They have drink specials with free shots on Tuesday's with coin flips. They have a nice outside area, which was where I hung out at. Even met a cool local named Terry, appreciated his respectful conversation and good energy.

I had an overall great trip. I am very grateful to be able to take a small staycation. I am even more grateful that Laura, family was able to see 25, with so much health and love around. I will be joining the quarter club in March. On the hunt for a location, I am between two places, so be on the lookout. Thank you all for the ongoing support. I am still working on my Mars line, and will be updating you all soon. Remember to always love and allow to be loved. Xo

Ember Vibes

I recently went to a sweet place with a great ambiance. Ember is a little indoor, as much as outdoor venue in Downtown Orlando. They have many drink specials and tasty food with a great staff to cater to you. Happy hour may never be the same for you all!

I will begin with my personal experience at Ember. Even on a rainy Friday they had a packed house. That did not stop the staff from being on their toes throughout the night. Even from the host at the front, she greets you with a smile and points you to the right place. The whole place is perfectly spaced, nice big tables too. Lots of areas to hang out with friends, and to make new ones too. There is a DJ there for the night, the music selection had me dancing a bit more after each drink. Our bartender was Jeremy, he was very attentive and friendly. He was very patient with us and our questions too, all with a genuine smile on his face. I could tell that their whole staff are probably similar in that sense, but he ultimately was the face of Ember that day. Friday's are 3 for 1 (no typo). There is no entry fee and the drinks are all premium liquor, bottled beer, and select wine; call the Uber there and back. Use Uber code "UberMarsUe" for a free first ride. Use a new email, same card for a free ride.

Ember's week of great food and drink specials start early. Sunday sets it off with Sunday Funday brunch. For $29.95 you get bottomless mimosas, red and white sangria along with an all you can eat brunch. This is from 10am-3pm be on time. You want to be able to eat and drink, then head over to Lake Eola for a nice stroll if wanted. For others it may just be the last hooray before the Monday blues take over.

Don't be too sad, Ember has Wednesday's covered too. Let's make our way to the Wine Down Wednesday greatness. From 5pm-9pm for only $10 you get bottomless mimosas, sangria, select beer and wine. This also includes endless appetizers. For $10 you must text "WINE" to 25827 and must be there before 7pm. Other than that, ladies are $15 and men are $20. You spend more than that on two drinks anywhere else, NO food included. Make this your new and light hump day entertainment.

Can't wait to continue coming out and enjoying the ember vibes. I want to thank the professional staff of Ember for showing myself and my friends a great time. Below are a couple of pictures of when we went there Friday. Thank you to all my supporters for your ongoing love. Hope to see pictures of you all at Ember @ me or tag me in them please. ALL feedback is welcomed, and appreciated. Remember to always love and allow to be loved. Xo

Hard Work, Sweat and Progression

My beautiful and amazing supporters! I needed a mental break from blogging and media working. I am coming back for you all, stronger and with brighter ideas. I am so excited for you all to continue my journey with me. To more adventures, more risks, and much more success!

So to kick off this update of mine! Working out for me is like a regular thing now. Still working on super healthy eating, but I am about 73% there. I am slimmer, skin is getting better slowly, my mind even feels healthier. Butt is getting bigger and gut is getting smaller. I took meat out for the month of January with the exception of sea food 1-2 a week. I am feeling great; I do miss meat, but I do have more energy. I am entering my last semester at Valencia College tomorrow. I am only taking one class, and will graduate in May. I have been in and out of school for over 5 years and even changed my major at one point. I am just happy to soon be finished with one obstacle, and on to the next. I applied for a University in Florida to continue my education. God willing to begin this summer with a couple of online classes.

Next is work, I am still on the hunt for someone who can offer flexibility with my school and travel, understands that I am a starving artist; but of course still be a well paying job for a hard worker like myself. I know to some it seems unattainable, but I know for a fact that they are out here. I refuse to overwork in something I am not passionate about for under $10. I prefer to have a company behind me that believes in me, and maybe even allow me to partner up with them afterwards. I am going to school for advertising and public relations. They can scratch my back now, and I may be able to scratch there's even better later.

Another thing I am in the mist of doing, is moving. I applied for a school as I said up top. I will give you a hint, it is NOT in Orlando. So I will have to leave the nest soon to continue my education and branding of myself. I have a few interviews lined up so keep those fingers crossed. A good paying job, and a few projects I have lined up will get my pockets a little oomph. The next 7-8 months will be a magnitude of money saving. I literally have a piggy bank, for all my change too. No penny will be wasted in the saving for this move.

Lastly I am proud to announce that I will soon have merchandise available for Wendolyn Mars. I will be honest with you all, my supporters. Personally I am going into this with a pen, pad and lots of faith. I am learning as I go, and using my past experiences with a great team around me to guide me. Stay tune to all my social media networks, as I will be trying to post more and interact more with you all. I want to able to blog more without the pressure of doing it every Sunday. So the days may jump around when publishing an entry. I want to thank you all for showing me extra love always. I am still looking for extra feedback on everything that I do. This is all for you guys, to make life easier on you all, so you can relate and save money all at once. Below I have a rough draft of something I may soon be putting out. Let me know if it is something that you all would enjoy to wear. Thank you all.

To my day 1 and my new supporters. I live by my quote "Love and allow to be loved". This is for everything around you. Your mind, your body, your job, your family, your higher power. If you love it, show it that, allow it to love you back. Nothing but greatness can result from love being spewed from both sides. Xo

Free Holiday Activities

Happy Holidays to you all. I am big on this time of year, there is so much extra love in the air. I am having my God children visit me this year, totally over the moon about it. Hopefully I will be able to share some pictures on here of my adventures with them, if not check out @W3ndy1321 (Instagram) for updates. I know that this time of year can be a little rough on the pockets. But we still all want to have fun, save money and be in the spirit. Below are a few activities that are family friendly for the next couple of weeks.

I love myself a nice outside movie. Lake Eola is offering a couple of movies to enjoy for FREE. Get a warm sweater, some snacks, few thick blankets, a sweet date or your kids, and make it a cozy movie night. They do have food trucks around if you get hungry, or run out of snacks. I am a total budget Betty, so I will bring my own snacks usually. The movies all start at 7pm. My best advice is get there early guys, find free parking and good seats. First they are offering on December 16th, 2016 to watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by Dr. Seuss. Following, they are offering on December 23rd, 2016 "A Christmas Story". Both of these movies are total classics, they are a great date night, solo night, or family night; I will let you guys choose, I say do both.

Next is more for my theater lovers. The timeless play "The Nutcracker" will be showing in the Walk Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola on December 17th, 2016 at 730pm. This is also a FREE event. Just like the movies though, make sure to get there with time. You do not want to be the person all the way in the back, that can't see anything. Remember to bring something to stay warm in.

First off I want to apologize to you guys for some delays on my entries on here. It has been finals week, and I graduate in the Spring. I have just been trying to find balance with everything around while still making school my number one priority. Now that school is over this Thursday, I hope to have a lot of material backed up to give you all the consistency back. I hope you all have an amazing holiday! Keep in contact if you need any help with getting around to these dope places. Appreciate you all supporting me in what I do, you all motivate me to keep striving when I read your kind words. Love you all to the moon and back. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xoxo

Pinchos Factory

I enjoy to have my full blown cheat meal once a week. Going steady on sticking to healthier eating habits, but know I still have work that needs to be done. I went with one of my best friends, Laura to grab a bite to eat and catch up.

We went and visited Pinchos Factory, I loved this place as soon as I walked in. The total vibes were giving me eco-friendly and homey. The seating is pretty well spaced out which helps if you go to eat alone, or 6 other people. The best service we had was from a young woman named Brooklynn. She was so amicable, respectful and attentive. I noticed her as she attended to other customers and it was the same for everyone. Loved the energy she gave us, wish her nothing but love and light. They have a selection of wines and beers to enjoy with your meals. Their meat is 100% humanely raised, anti-biotic and hormone free too.

Laura grabbed a rice and chicken bowl, chipotle style. I am a big baby for anything spicy, so I just took her word on it being hot. She had rice, chicken, jalapeno, pico de gallo, homemade chipotle mayo and she got a side of cilantro sauce. She said that the side of sauce helped subside the intense spices. It was a great portion size as well, she felt full, but not bloated. If you like you food with a kick, this may be it. $8-$9

I of course, grabbed something a little out of the ordinary. Mine was called a toston burger. They use tostones which are fried plantains, as buns. Inside it came with jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and their homemade cilantro sauce. The first bite was filled with great flavors. Tasted like something that we should all have at our barbecues. I also grabbed a side of sweet potato tots, with a kick ass apple butter dip. $8.49 $4.49 All their burgers are cooked at medium well, my favorite. I was fond of them being 100% fresh and natural. Also they won the 2015 Burger Bash Champion. If you're winning awards, then it definitely has to account for something.

Overall this is a great place to enjoy with family, some takeout or even a solo date. They have 7 locations and seem to continue to be growing. I can not wait to hear the feedback you guys have for this place. Hope to see some pictures of your tasty meals. Thank you all for the ongoing support you give me. Excuse my absence last week. Been hectic with graduation around the corner. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xoxo

Obstacle Course Fun

You all know by now, I am always up for an adventure. Being that I have been trying to get a little more on the fit I try to make it fun all the time. I decided to head out and have some fun in the sky.

If you have been living in Orlando long enough you are familiar with Festival Bay, which is now the Artegon Marketplace. They now have this awesome obstacle course of ropes called Sky Trail. By far top 3 funnest things I have ever done in a mall. They have so much variety, and an amazing finish to it all.

I went with my friend Chris so that we would challenge each other. He was a great sport. The prices are attainable, and they even work with birthday specials too, if you have a lot of kiddies. They charge $8 for the small course, mainly for kids under 5 over 1. Then is the whole course for $18 this even includes the zip lining unlimited. Now for $25 all that is added, plus a kick ass 40 foot drop for your exit.

You begin by getting strapped into a harness. If you do not have the appropriate shoes, they give you some for free, while you climb. They explain some rules to you, and send you up. They have free lockers to store your things in while you play. Once you start heading up, you may get a few excited butterflies, but keep climbing. I personally made Chris go first, I figured I would pick up where he did good at and try to copy. It was so much fun cracking jokes, having a couple of scares, but best of all finishing it all. One of the things I loved about this was that, once you pay you stay up there all you want. Now I advice you all to use the bathroom before heading up. Last thing you want is to pay for this, and then come down after just a couple of courses because your bladder has different plans. We went through different courses, some we even hit more than once. People were looking up at us, smiling and waving in motivation.

This place is perfect for a Sunday funday type of day. A family outing that is not going to kill the pockets, or even a cute simple adventurous date. This was a very nice workout for us both. You basically have to use your whole body to get through, especially your arms to pull yourself through. Balance is needed, but it is not the most. More than anything just have fun, even if you fall, you are strapped so just pull yourself back up.

The whole staff was amazing. So helpful and amicable. I was grateful for their all while we did the whole course, and when we did the 40 foot drop too. I want to give a special thanks to the Solomon family for allowing me to take a picture of their beautiful daughter on her course. As well as the staff of Sky Trails, Andre, Caitlin, and especially Alexander and Samantha. Can not wait to go back soon and with more people to have even more of a blast.

Hope you all make it out here soon. Please contact me if you need any help. Also I will put below how to get in contact with the staff. Remember I am always open to feedback, and it is always appreciated. Thank you all for the ongoing support and love you give me. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Look Who's Fit

Hey everyone, I have been on this healthier journey for a few months now. I workout at least 5 times a week, with a 1-2 mile runs each workout. Sometimes all I actually do is run. I am always looking how to switch up my workout as I have shown you all before. I decided to head back to my trainer Bert, you will too.

I met Bert a few years ago. Started as a trainer, and evolved into a friend. He has always been extremely motivational, professional, and respectful. He graduated with a B.A in sports and exercise science. He does training for both youth and adults. Works on weight loss, muscle gain, even trains athletes too. You tell him exactly what body type you are aiming for, and he will get you there. He has his own brand "Look Who's Fit" with lots of merchandise too. You will wear it proudly out and about, great quality and message. Bert always pushes you extra just when you think you are going to cave in. He always wants it badly for you, but you have to want it just as bad to see the true results.

It is always fun to head to his Saturday boot camps at Blue Jacket Park. The space is huge, and refreshing. These workouts are total judge free zones, everyone is amicable and welcoming. This past Saturday I began with a nice half a mile jog around the park. Went into cardio drills as soon as I went in. He incorporates a couple of different sports too. I did a little soccer and even some football. The drills are meant to work your full body out. The weather is getting very cool, so that helps with the sweat and cooling down process. Bert always has a full cooler of chilled water waiting as a reward. He even plays music outside to get us nice and hype. This awesome boot camp is only $10. You all know I am a total budget Betty. This is the place to be at on weekends for a great price, and even better results. He even has a partner there to assist him. Rafael, his partner also speaks Spanish for those wanting to bring bilingual friends out.

Bert does not stop there he also does private training. I will have all his information down below. He will be able to give you a little more 1 on 1 time. This may be a little pricey for some, but for others its the perfect balance. If you do not know how to workout in the gym, or what to eat, Bert will guide you. Thing is you will have to pay it now to be healthier, or pay it later in life if you end up in bad health. He will teach you the right way to use different machines and even your own body weight. He also does meal preps for his clients, or meal plans if you want to cook it yourself. He is always going over and beyond to make you feel better about not only your body, but the inside too.

I want to thank Bert for always welcoming me back into his workouts with open arms. To see him continue to evolve to this awesome trainer is amazing. You will not regret going to him. If you have followed me on social media for a few years, you have seen me workout with him before. Best shape I was in before is all thanks to this man, and the pushing he did. Thank you all for continuing to support me in everything. You all are the real MVPs! All feedback is always welcomed please. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xo PS: I will have a video up on my IG this week, of my workout. @W3ndy1321

Helping Haiti

Hurricane Matthew came through and messed up a few places. Haiti unfortunately received the short end of the stick. The number as of now is 877 deceased (theweatherchannel.com). Most of us just had a little water, wind, fallen branches and quick power outages. I am sure many of you bought extra supplies, that we may be able to pass along to someone in need.

We need to come together for Haiti. We are blessed enough to be alive and able. We have so much access to everything we need in the case of an emergency. Haiti is a third world country still recovering from past disasters. Let us all be able to help them get back on their feet, and be able to overcome this hardship.

There are many ways to help. First and easiest is sending money. Most places accept payments online, some even allow you to send checks through the mail. If you do not have too much money to spare, send supplies. They are always in need of medical supplies, batteries, food and tents. These are just the basics of their needs. If you can not afford to spend a dime, blood is always needed. Head over to make an appointment at an American Red Cross.

Below are websites to places where you can give assistance at. Let us all come together as considerate humans. Think if they were our family members we would want to get everything to them. Thank you for the ongoing support, feedback is always welcomed. Remember to always love and allow to be loved.

Know Your Status

Why is it that we are so mature to have sex, but so immature or closed off to getting tested. We are in a new year, a new age with so many consequences that can come from sexual pleasure. So many harmful diseases and infections out, why not know if your health is A1? I will guide you on how to find FREE places to get tested, and know your status.

1 in every 8 Americans are living with HIV. That is more than 1.2 million. (aids.gov) Florida is one of the biggest states known for people having HIV and Syphilis. We can help these numbers go down by being aware.

We all tend to almost give too much trust to our partners from jump. Just assumptions that they are clean, and get tested. There is nothing wrong with making a date out of getting tested with your partner before getting intimate. If your partner puts you down about wanting to get tested with them, then they probably 1. have something or 2. aren't mature enough to get your loving body. This is not to say that you may not slip up and have a one night stand or some crazy shit, but make sure to go get tested RIGHT after the crazy night, or DAY.

I found a dope place in downtown area called The Center. They are a LGBT organization that offer FREE TESTING for the public. Everyday they offer FREE HIV and Hepatitis C testing. Then on Monday's from 11am-5pm they offer FREE gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis, also the HIV and hep c are still available. Heads up be there early on Monday's, the wait can be pretty long.

I hope this shines light on how normalized knowing your status should be. If you are still a bit more of a private person, I know someone who does it in private. She has an office where she will test you for HIV and syphilis FOR FREE in the privacy of her office. Contact me if you want her information to make an appointment.

Health is wealth. We get one life, enjoy it with whom you please. Just make sure you are being safe in doing so. Not only for your sake, but for others too. Let us find out more ways on how to bring down numbers for all these STDs and STIs. Also want to say that even if you do have an STD or STI you can still live a regular life. The Center has people and classes to go to that can educate you on doing so. Thank you all for the great support every week. I am always open to recieving positive and negative feedback. Remember to always, Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Makis Sushi

Being that I been trying to stay on a, somewhat healthier lifestyle, sushi just seemed light and right.

The establishment is called Makis. They are an awesome spot that is Brazilian and Japanese mix. They have 5 locations in Brazil, and 2 on Florida. One in Miami, other is in Lake Nona. Their staff is so welcoming and polite. Met Carlos an owner. Carlos greets everyone as soon as they come in with a bright smile. Pamela, my waitress was sweet and helpful in the choosing of my meals. The space is so clean, and very bright with chilled music. They have great prices, as low as $4 and the highest item on the menu is $12.

I grabbed a few things, just to show you all a little snip of it all. To start off I began with a nice, miso soup. Had some green onions and tofu in it, I can always appreciate a nice warm soup before I dig in. Next I grabbed a lemon tuna temaki, it was so delicious. They put the tuna in this wheat flour, and fry it to perfection. Its so fresh, and dipped in this great eel sauce too. Inside it is paired with white rice (you can add more) and all inside a seaweed cone. Unlike regular sushi, where you use chopsticks, you just grab it with those 10 fingers and go in. I had a very classic California roll, can't ever go wrong with it. My favorite is the hint of mango in it. They bring you out a great selection of sauces to dip your food in. Eel sauce, sweet wasabi, wasabi soy, and spicy mayo. I even treated myself to a little sweetness. It is the sweet temaki, its in a waffle cone with nutella and fresh strawberries. It is best to split it in half with someone else, it is a sugar rush galore.

They offer lunch specials Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm. This consists of either 1 Temaki or 1 sushi roll. You can also add a miso soup,  cali salad, edamame, nigimakis, or makisnest. All for only $10. They also offer happy hour, when you order a Temaki, your beer is only $1.

Want to thank Richard, and the staff of Makis for the great hospitality. I also want to thank you all, my supporters for always showing me love. Hope you all make it out here to have a nice meal. I went alone, as you all know I am all for solo time to get away. But family time is also needed. This place is vegan friendly too, no MSG either. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Michael Radel, Fallen Angel

Death. We all cringe at it, naturally. I know not to question my higher power, on why things happen and it's timing. My childhood friend Michael Radel passed away a few days ago, and my heart has been so heavy on it. Writing is a way for me to let my emotions ride. This is for him and this is for me.

We met back in middle school. Just like any kids that age, we joked around, went to the skating rink on Fridays and unlike kids now, loved being outside for hours a day playing. Michael was always such a nice energy to have around. Always so funny, energetic and ready for whatever was thrown at him. Growing up we all had our family and personal issues, but we all stuck together, always protected each other. He was there for me for hardships, my parents separating and my favorite just to make me smile. I will forever be grateful for him finding the positive in every dark time.

Fast forward to after high school. He moves back to Miami to become a barber and better himself. We did not see each other often, but we always made sure to stay in contact. Last time we spoke he was just so happy. He was with a woman that loved him, traveling and living. Even though my brother did not see 30, and I feel he still had so much to accomplish I know he is in a better place. My belief tells me that here, Earth, is a type of hell. We are put here to be tested, to be used and abused for our beautiful afterlife. My God wanted him, he needed him and his lively spirit more than we did. I appreciate all my friends and family that have been supporting me in this hard time. His viewing is Monday, and we say out final goodbyes on Tuesday.

Death is only hard on the people who are left behind. We can not be selfish in this time. Wanting him back here with us is what we all would want. But the world he is in right now is filled with peace and beauty. So since I truly believe that, it makes me a little more content. My fallen angel is in the kingdom we all hope to make it into one day. I love you Michael, watch over us all and guide us when we are on the wrong foot. Make sure to always love those around you say it. Do not carry hate and negativity in your soul, forgive others, not for them, but for yourselves. Remember to always love and allow to be loved. Xo

Wet n Wild Last Splash

If you have been living in Florida, or always vacationed here you went to Wet n Wild at least once before. Well if you were unaware, they are closing down at the end of the year. They gave us all great memories throughout the years, 39 to be exact. They actually opened on a March 13th, which is my birth date too.

I went a couple time already since I bought the pass for the rest of the year. It is all for under $55. Parking is about $15, split with three people and you're set. Also a locker is about $12, so either pack very light, or leave your things on the beach chairs and check it every so often. This place is very kid friendly. They have a pretty good variety of food, but they are a little pricey for the simplicity of them. I recommend it best to eat well before getting there, take some snacks and pack some booze in something discreet.

This is a place to go with lots of friends, or even on a nice day date. The good thing about having the pass until December 31st is you can go at any time. Sometimes I actually go the whole day, but mostly just a few hours. This is Florida, we have hot days even on what are supposed to be "cold days."

I hope you all take advantage of this offer going on. I am all for having fun in the water. We live in the perfect state for it. I hope to bring you all a couple of other water friendly places soon. Remember to always love and allow to be loved.

Blue Springs Beauty

I am one with nature. Water, trees, animals, I love it all. For me it is extremely therapeutic to just be out of your house and one with the Earth. We are all so blessed to be able to enjoy different bodies of water, some closer than others.

I headed to Blue Springs this weekend with a few friends. I usually go to the springs super early, (7-8am) just because of how packed it can get on weekends. This time we left around 1pm making it by 2pm. Parking is $6. I advise to take food to save a few extra dollars. As soon as we sprayed down in lots of Off spray. After we stripped down and headed for the water. Before we jumped in, I rented a water tube for $5. It's $5 an hour, $2.50 if you go over the hour. Which is best to do, save a quick couple of bucks that way as well.

Easiest way to get in is to just jump in the water. The water is natural and cold so if you ease in, it will make it worse. Once you are in, you just have to stay submerged. The water is so beautiful and clear. Fishes around you make you feel like one with mother nature. If you swim to the back, you see where the water comes from. It's about 100ft cave where dare devils check how deep they can go in.

The spring is part of our beautiful Earth, please take care of it. Take your trash where it needs to be, and do not hurt the animals. Find the beauty in it all, and cherish the fact that you can visit such a place. They have many different activities, camping, cabins and even canoeing. I will give all the information needed below.

I hope you all enjoy the Blue Springs and make great memories. Send me your pictures with your loved ones when you visit. Love the beautiful Earth we have, and show it off to others.

Busy Bee

I know you all love my posts of food and activities, but lately I've been on a bit of roll with other things.

I don't see myself leaving my awesome cyber baby. But I do see myself evolving into bigger and better projects. I have taken over my moms beauty salon, Bella Salon and Barbershop. I took over basic administrative projects, and marketing. I know I can take an already amazing business, to a next level of greatness. I am also currently an intern blogger for The O-Town Plug. They are more entertainment, hip hop based blog site. I am excited to write a little differently. I have been meeting with many dope people in the last couple of weeks. A couple of people are already well established in the industry, and are willing to help me become greater.

I lost my job a couple of weeks ago. To many they would see that as a failure, or setback. For me it just motivated me more to grab on to what I really want in life. I want to ultimately be my own boss someday. I am aware that I will need to start from the bottom, and take orders a little while longer. But I am not afraid of expressing my ignorance to new things. I am always willing to work my ass off to better myself.

I am looking forward to continuing to share my journey with you all. I start school back up in a couple of weeks, and the projects keep coming. Just know I am working hard every single day, and I want to continue to motivate y'all to follow your dreams. Be great in all that you do. Thank you all for the ongoing support. Don't be afraid to contact me if you need a little guidance, or just want to know more about my projects. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Meals At Home

Happy national friendship day. I met up with my cousin Janet and her awesome girlfriend Christina. They made me an awesome home cooked meal.

You all know I am always down for saving money and having a great time. Some people forget that eating at home, is a total money saver. So since I am such am advocate of leaving your house and saving money, next time try to head to a friends house and make a home cooked meal instead.

They awaited me with an awesome lasagna, texas toast, and even a chocolate cake. I brought them a red wine to drink after dinner, it was about $10. The lasagna was so cheesy, even had tomatoe pieces in it. The texas toast was baked so nicely, just a little crispy how I like it. The chocolate cake was so fluffy, and creamy from the frosting. The whole meal they made was about $30. They are budget Bettys just like me, they buy at the dollar store, Aldi and Walmart. You do not need to spend wild amounts of money to have a nice meal at home.

Family dinners are so important. We always eat at the table when we're together. It lets us talk about what's been going on in our lives, what is coming and laugh it up. I am very family oriented. My cousin lives a little far from me, but that does not stop us from linking up and checking in on each other.

Love your friends, family and friends who turned family. Make sure you take some time to get away from the public, and into a sweet homecooked meal with loved ones. Make it a habit to sit at the table when eating. Thank you all for the ongoing support. Send me some pictures of you and your families enjoying a home cooked meal. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Gaming and Booze

I am always on the lookout for the next dope place that is pocket friendly. More than that, I just love to get people out of their house. Now a lot of people think video game players are just always home, on a couch with snacks everywhere. But I found a place that is a little different.

I found a game lovers paradise! Beers, different game consuls, and old school arcade machines. Right when I went in, I saw so many old arcade games from when I was growing up. The entry into Player One Arcade Bar was $5. This allows you to play all the games for free. I went to the bar, started with a Sake sort of shot, that they mix with a red juice. Good starting kick to the night. Next I had a beer called purple haze, to me it was smooth and flavorful. It had a hint of raspberry which gave it a nice sweet twist. The beer was $5. Mostly all the beers are very inexpensive and they have a wild variety. No liquor, close to it are the Sake shots, which were also $5. They even have small sample cups if you want to try the beer before you choose. I enjoyed my sweet bartender, her name was Tara. She was so helpful with everything I needed. Service was awesome. I played things like Pac Man, Super Nintendo, shooting games, I even got to enjoy a game of duck hunt. The bigger game consuls you need to have a tab open to rent out, so worth it. Get a dope group of 4 and get your game on.

The variety of games that they have is what caught my attention. So many old school games, combined with set ups of new generation games. It is awesome because it is for all ages, from open to 6pm all ages are welcomed. After 6pm it is only 21+. I can appreciate a company that allows adults to get their game on too. I loved the diversity in the place too, people from all over just there for the same things, a cold one and dope games.

They also have man crush Mondays, which allows men to have discounted entry, and specials on drinks. Same thing for my ladies, you get to enjoy discounted entry and drink specials but on Wednesday's. I love that they have a men and ladies night, that alone shows the dope equality for us all.

This is such a cool place to just grab a few friends and do something different and inexpensive. Same for even people who are total gamers, change your environment and kick some ass in public. People will swarm you and call you the gaming boss! It is very easy to get here, easy to rent out games, and even easier to just have a great time gaming.

I hope this entry was informative for you all. When you get a chance I hope you will slide by Player 1 to grab some beers, and bust some butt in a swift game of Mario Karts. Thank you all for the ongoing support and love I receive. Make sure to always get out of the house, have a great time and save money while doing so. Remember my motto, Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Choo Choo Shot

This low key may be my new hang out spot for the weekends. This is perfect for people like me who want a dope environment to match the vibes. Not to mention coming along with great, cheap, strong tasting drinks. Check it out.

Found this bar a couple of months ago. It's called "The Hammered Lamb" and I find it very appropriate, because you will leave hammered. This is a bar on Orange Ave. It has a nice view outside looking to a pretty lake and park, even a volleyball area if you are feeling up for it. Last time I went was on a Friday night with my friend Lei. They have happy hour everyday, 4pm-7pm. And even after that the drink specials keep going until 2am. $2 domestic beers, $3 call liquors, and $3.50 select wines. Everyday a different type of liquor has amazing specials. My favorite part are the FREE SHOTS when a train passes. It is so cool because the train station is not far at all, so they come VERY often. Saturday and Sunday they have brunch, between $8-$12. 11am-4pm Saturday and Sunday they have $3 single mimosas and $5 for a double, all types of flavors. All their drinks are 2oz, so drink up. Our fine ass bartender Patrick took such good care of us. Please make sure to ask for him when you sit at the bar. He was so polite, helpful, and entertaining.

Live music is played every Friday from 5pm-8pm. They musician was kick ass. He was playing old school jams, but with a guitar. Total Rap vibes with soul feels, music lovers will appreciate it. They also have a live DJ from 1030pm-2am on Fridays. As well as trivia Tuesdays 5pm-7pm. They have ping pong tables inside as well.

This is where you want to blow off some steam after a long day at work, or if you want to get your night started for little money. Everyone is nice, and the eye candy that work here help the cause. I love that they have so much variety too. Please make sure to drive safe. Do not drink and drive, use my Uber code uberMarsue for a free ride back home. If you already have an account, just use a new email to get the free ride. I want to continue to give you all places to enjoy and not go money crazy. We had a shot, and 4 drinks each and it was all under $35. You can NOT beat that. Hope you all make it out here I know you will have a great time. Thank you all for the ongoing support, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Remember to always Love and allow to be loved. Xo

Progression, Turns into Motivation!

I learned sometime ago, it is best to keep some of your moves silent, until they get off the ground. I have been trying to dibble and dabble into some new ventures.

My major in school is public relations and advertising. I am currently at Valencia, and have one more semester after this summer one, before heading over to UCF to finish up my BA degree. I do want to continue school for a MA in marketing. These are all things that go hand in hand, that I am good at, just need to be polished up the book way. Being a Hispanic woman, I will always have to work a little harder, and learn a little more.

My mother owns a beauty salon in Orlando. I have never been too much into the hair business, but I do respect the money it brings in. I currently work for a great company that gives me good benefits and is extremely flexible with all my trips and school schedule. But I want more, I need to grasp experience on a bigger level.

I am looking into taking a career offer in handling someone else's business. I believe it will help us both out. They will be more organized and have more business coming in, and I will get the experience and better pay. I am very nervous about all this, but I am ready. I will always want MORE out of life, as should ALL of you as well. Sometimes the biggest risks have the biggest rewards. And even if I fail I can say I did it, tried it and learned. I will always be on to the next best thing for me. I just want to learn hands on what it is to have my own business. As a young woman who want to own her business in less than a decade, I'd figure it would be best to start as soon as I can.

I want you all to strive for what you want, and know that no one can put a stop to it. You may have people tell you no, close doors on you and turn away. But that does not mean someone won't say yes. Make sure to feed your ideas to like minded people who want to see you do better. Take cristisim and fix the bumps in the road. I hope we are all working for the lives we want and deserve. If you are not happy where you are at now, change it, and become motivated to be better. Remember to always Love and Allow to be Loved xo

Black Lives Matter

I am so sadden by this post. Again I have to bring awareness to yet again another tragedy. But here I am, doing it and holding my head high in the mist of it. Recently two more black men were murdered by careless police officers. I am here to give my views, shine light, and kill a little ignorance all in one for you all. All feedback is always welcomed.

Unless you live under a rock, you have seen all of the senseless acts of violence towards our black brothers and sisters. Hurts to see people that are supposed to be protecting us, boldly just shoot us down. The worse part is, no justice is being served.

Now I respect and appreciate all of our brave police officers doing their jobs the right way, and risking their lives everyday. Taking proper protocol, making the necessary arrests and attacks. But I believe they all need to speak up, point out what is clearly wrong. If you are silent for something as big as this, you truly are part of the problem. We need to all stand together, protest, scream for justice to be served. These murders are being seen on camera, full blown proof, and the system just decides to look the other way. Unfortunately we have many cowards hiding behind a badge. A real police officer is someone caring, fearless, intelligent, and aware. If you fear an unarmed, and harmless human being, and you want to apply to become a police officer, do us all a favor and go work retail at your local mall instead. So police officers if you read this, I ask for you to stand behind the citizens you swore to protect, and not behind the murderer with your same uniform.

As for the Black Lives Matter, I stand with it forever. Some are are saying "all lives matter" in response. That is irrelevant, we are stating the obvious. Problem is, black lives being something that does matter, clearly does not to others. So we will continue to shine light on this issue. Continue to stand up for what is right, keep talking about it to others every chance you get, and keep fighting until changes are made. I do not stand by violence, but it does not surprise me the way people are lashing out. We need to do more protests, shut down more streets, scream louder, get out to more cities, states, countries. Get new contracts in order, get new laws to make way, more testing for people entering the force. There are so many things we can try and change if we all work together.

I am grateful to have this platform to speak my mind, and give awareness to something so important to me. I do not want to fear about any of my loved ones being killed. I want to be able to voice my opinion, and have changes made. My mother risked coming to this country to give me a better life, because America was a safe country, seems to me some things have changed. Let us all be one voice. There is a Black Lives Matter march today Sunday July 10th, 2016 at Lake Eola, from 6pm-930pm. I hope you all can make it, let us be heard. Contact me if you need any help getting downtown, or have any questions. Thank you so much for the ongoing support from you all. Be safe, and remember to always love and allow to be loved. Xo
